CCA hosts concert Tuesday
The Craig Concert Association will present “Richie Lee & The Fabulous ’50s” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.
The event is free with an association membership. Non-members pay $20 at the door.
“Dubbed a teenage sensation, Richie has made a name for himself performing at ’50s style dances and clubs,” the concert association reported in a news release. “Although Richie is the leading Buddy Holly tribute act in the country, he also pays tribute to Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson, and Eddie Cochran.”
Memberships also will be on sale at the concert.

Community Kitchen fundraiser set for Wednesday
St. Michael’s Community Kitchen will host its annual fundraiser Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St.
A wine bar takes place from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children younger than 10.

Benefit rummage sale Saturday
A benefit rummage sale for Craig residents Tracey and John Wall will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Journey at First Baptist, 1150 W. Ninth St.
Proceeds contribute to the Walls’ upcoming ministry aboard a Mercy Ship, a hospital vessel bound for Africa.
Household items and baked goods will be for sale, and chili, cornbread and beverages will be available.
Donated household items, baked goods and financial donations are accepted.

2013 Pet Mate Calendar Contest set
The deadline to enter pet pictures in the 2013 Pet Mate Calendar Contest has been set for Tuesday. The contest is a fundraiser for The Humane Society of Moffat County.
