Free car care clinic
A car care clinic for single mothers, seniors and residents with disabilities takes place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Journey at First Baptist, 1150 W. Ninth St.
The event is free and offered by appointment only.
The clinic offers fluid checks and refills, antifreeze tests and battery and light tests. Discounted repairs and oil changes can be arranged, if possible.

Preserving the Last Frontier meeting Saturday
Preserving The last Frontier will conduct its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the library on the second floor of Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
Bobbi Peed will give a presentation on the "Forgotten Town" of Fourmile.
The event is open to the public.

“Coffee with the Principal” event scheduled
Thom Schnellinger, Moffat County High School principal, will host “Coffee with the Principal” on Thursday.
The event will take place at 6 a.m. at Village Inn, 1103 W. Victory Way, and will be open to the public.
Schnellinger will be available to discuss topics of interest, educational issues and challenges.

American Cancer Society seeking Relay volunteers, teams
Moffat County’s 2012 Relay for Life Place will take place July 20 and 21 at Moffat County High School.
The annual event is designed to celebrate cancer survivors, honor those who have lost their lives to cancer, and raise money and awareness for the ongoing fight against cancer.
