Registration day set for Craig Sea Sharks
Craig Sea Sharks, a USA Swimming affiliated summer swim club, will register area youth interested in participating in competitive swimming May 3 at the Craig Middle School cafeteria.
The registration will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and is open for youth ages 5 to 18.
Youth must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate.
The Sea Sharks are offering two training options, with costs of $130 and $230.
For more information, call Bonnie Hulstine at 824-5662.
MCHS hosting spring water aerobics class
Craig Parks and Recreation is offering a spring water aerobics class now through May 2.
The class meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
There is a $30 fee for six weeks and a drop-in fee is $3.
Water aerobics improves cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and body tone while the water provides added resistance yet is less stressful on joints than traditional aerobic classes.
Anyone interested may sign up online at www.ci.craig.co.us or stop by Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.
