Medicare counseling in Craig
Medicare consultations take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday in room 106 of Colorado Northwestern Community College’s Bell Tower Building, 50 College Dr.
Betsy Packer, with the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, is available the first and third Tuesdays of every month to offer one-on-one help to residents with Medicare and their families.
The consultations are free and confidential, and they are open to residents who receive Medicare, which is for people 65 and older, or who will be receiving Medicare services in the near future.

Elk Foundation banquet today
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will host a banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday at Western BBQ, 2305 Mount Werner Circle, in Steamboat Springs.
The gondola leading up to the restaurant opens at 5 p.m. The event features live and silent auctions and a raffle.
Tickets are $75 for singles and $115 for couples. Tickets include dinner, a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation membership and a hunting knife.

DAR meeting today
The Augusta Wallihan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will conduct its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. today upstairs in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way.

Pop, country concert
The voice students of Emily Pfeifer will perform in concerts at 1 and 7:30 p.m. today at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.
The afternoon performance features elementary and middle school performers, and the night performance includes high school and adult singers.
The concert will feature pop and country numbers, as well as other hits from stage and film.
