The following is a list of Easter services and events slated for Moffat County:

Friday, April 6

7 p.m. A Good Friday interfaith worship service takes place at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 657 Green St. The service is open to anyone. Call 824-7939.



Saturday, April 7

9 a.m. and 7 p.m. St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 691 Green St., hosts Saturday Of Lazarus Services. All are welcome. Call the church at 970-824-6664.



10:30 a.m. Maybell Bible Community Church offers an Easter service at Browns Park School. Call Pastor Linda Taylor at 970-272-3212.

11 a.m. The Easter bunny will be at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way to give children younger than 12 an Easter egg filled with a surprise. Call 819-0018.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children are invited to take place in a coloring contest. Contestants can pick up Easter-themed pictures from any merchant in Centennial Mall. Colored pictures must be returned by 2 p.m. to M&D Handmade Gifts. Contestants are divided into three age groups: ages 6 and younger, ages 7 to 9 and ages 10 to 12. 7 a.m. An Easter sunrise service takes place at Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay St. An Easter sunrise breakfast will follow. Call 824-7939.

7 a.m. First Congregational Church hosts an Easter sunrise service at at Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Drive. Call 824-6836 or 826-4100.

8 a.m. First Congregational Church, 630 Green St., hosts an Easter breakfast. Call 824-6836.

9 a.m. An Easter worship celebration takes place at Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay St. Everyone is welcome. Call 824-7939.

9 .am., 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 691 Green St., hosts Palm Sunday services. All are welcome. Call the church at 970-824-6664.
