‘Click It or Ticket’ week planned

Colorado State Patrol and 29 rural law enforcement agencies in 49 counties this week announced plans for a “Click It or Ticket” seat belt enforcement period set for April 2 through 8.

The enforcement is paired with an education campaign aimed at dispelling the myths and excuses people make for not buckling up, the state patrol reported in a news release.

The increased seat belt enforcement will take place in Moffat, Routt, Garfield, Grand and rural Mesa counties, among others. The Craig Police Department is one of 29 participating law enforcement agencies.
