Briefs for Sept. 26, 2011: CNCC plans spring break trip to Greece

Colorado Northwestern Community College is planning a trip to Greece during CNCC’s spring break from March 9 to 18, 2012.

The trip is open to community members and students. The trip itinerary includes Athens (Acropolis and Agora), Delphi and Olympia.

Deposits for the trip are due by Oct. 1.

Depression, bipolar

group meetings set

The Depression and Bipolar Support Group meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.

The group is free and open to anyone.

Physician to offer arthritis seminar

Dr. Michael Sisk will host a community arthritis seminar at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the conference room at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.

The seminar is free and will include information about treatment options, including total knee replacement.

Sisk practices in both Craig and Steamboat Springs and performs operations at TMH.

Boys and Girls Club offering meals

The Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. Highway 40, is offering free meals and snacks to children 6 to18 years old on weekdays.

Snacks are available from 3:30 to 4 p.m., and dinner is available from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Children do not have to be Boys & Girls Club members to participate.

The Food Bank of the Rockies.
