Senior Spotlight for Sept. 5, 2011

September starts off with a bang — Labor Day.

What does Labor Day mean to you? I usually ended up working on Labor Day on whatever shift I was on. It really wasn’t a work of labor, as I enjoy working with people, helping people, etc. I miss working now.

Labor doesn’t necessarily mean working on a job a person is getting paid for. It can be work done at home or anywhere, unless a person like to do it as a hobby, then it becomes a job of a different name.

Birthdays I have are Wayne Mohrstadt, Twilla Holmes, Doloris St. Lewis, Stephen Sharp, Mary Vigil and Tillie Gallegos.

No bus or meals at Sunset Meadows today due to the Labor Day holiday.

The Sunset Meadows I potluck is at noon Friday. Bingo follows at 1 p.m.

Come join us.
