Moffat County Libraries’ Summer Reading Program begins May 31
The Moffat County Libraries is launching our annual Summer Reading Program on May 31.
Readers of all ages will travel the globe this summer as we present “One World, Many Stories” during the program.
Children will explore all seven continents through stories, crafts, music, dance and other activities.
The Summer Reading Program is open to everyone, birth through adult, with activities, prizes, story hours, a youth club and more.
The program is slated to end Aug. 20.

• Culture Night @ Your Library takes place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of every month (except July).
• Story-Time for children will take place at 11 a.m. Thursdays beginning June 2 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area.
• Family Game Night takes place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays.
Activities for summer reading participants:
• Youth Club takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays beginning June 1, with cool crafts and activities for children 8 and older.

Culture Night a success
We want to thank the community for helping make our new Culture Night @ Your Library a continuing success.
We are thrilled by the number of people who have attended this new program.
We invite families to attend our next event, Dewey’s Amazing Race. This family fun experience will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 6.
As a team, families will participate in games, learn the Dewey Decimal System and win prizes.
Thanks for book, DVD, and CD donations
We also want to extend our many thanks for the community’s ongoing generosity in donating books, DVDs and CDs.
We greatly appreciate your donations of like-new materials.
As a reminder, the library does not accept donations of magazines, newspapers, damaged or unclean books, or outdated material such as old encyclopedias.
And don’t forget, the Moffat County Libraries offers wireless Internet along with eight Internet accessible computers for the public to use.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the library is selling T-shirts for the summer ranging from $8 to $10.
You can purchase a book bag for just $2 and sign-up to become a friend for as low as $5.
They offer an ongoing book sale located at the library.
