6:30 p.m. The 2011 Moffat County High School FFA Project Auction and Oyster Fry is at the MCHS ag shop, 900 Finley Lane. Projects to be auctioned include metal artwork, yard ornaments, bird feeders, wishing wells and flowers. Dinner is $5 per person. Call 824-7036.

7 a.m. The 25th annual “Where the Hell’s Maybell?” bike ride starts from Northwest Storage, 4295 W. U.S. Highway 40. The ride is free to all. The first 200 registered riders will receive free shirts. A start time of 7:30 a.m. from the Western Knolls is also available. A $6 breakfast will be available at the end of the ride. For more information, call 826-2029.
9 a.m. The Special Olympics Colorado Western Area Summer Games will take place at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. About 100 regional athletes competing in track and field, aquatic and weighlifting events will participate. Spectators are welcome. Call Julie Fite at 945-0395.
9 a.m. Hal Glanville teaches fly-fishing techniques at Glen Sherman Park at Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. The park is open to youths and seniors. The event is a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network. Call Glanville at 826-9771.
9 a.m. to noon. The Humane Society of Moffat County hosts a reduced-price adoption day at the Craig Animal Shelter, 2430 E. Victory Way. Animals are available for the reduced cost of $60. Available animals can be viewed at www.petfinder.com. Call Carol Scott at 824-2103.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The City of Craig hosts Craig Clean-Up Days at the north end of Craig City Park. The city accepts used tires and appliances, and Interstate Battery accepts used auto and commercial batteries. Call 824-3278 or 824-4463.
