It’s an all-American weekend in Craig with music, shopping, baseball, roly-poly pets and a dessert buffet.

Bear River Young Life brings you Andrew Ripp for a live performance at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

Henry Howard, of Steamboat Springs, along with Craig musicians Brian Ivy and Ben Winslow will open the show.

Get tickets in advance for $10 from the Craig Daily Press, KRAI or Wolf Mountain Pizza in Hayden. Tickets at the door are $15.

Proceeds from the concert benefit Young Life.

Also support Young Life by attending the organization’s Annual Dessert Banquet at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

Learn about how Young Life affects youths in our area and enjoy some yummy sweets. It’s free and child care is provided.

One-stop shopping is yours at this weekend’s KRAI Spring Expo.

The event includes various businesses with their products and work on display. Find snowmobiles, jewelry, computers, indoor and outdoor improvement products and more.

The expo runs from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.

The weenie dog races are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and the crawling baby races are set for 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Registration begins a half-hour earlier for both contests.

Catch a good show as the Craig Concert Association presents River City 6 next week.

The ensemble includes six players from the River City Brass Band, who will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.

It’s free for association members or $20 at the door for non-members.

Root for the home team as Moffat County High School athletes host games this weekend.

The varsity baseball team plays Battle Mountain at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.

The girls soccer teams host Grand Valley on Friday with varsity at 4 p.m. Friday and junior varsity at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 S. Mack Lane.

The girls hit the field again Saturday with 11 a.m. (varsity) and 12:30 p.m. (JV) games against Battle Mountain, also at Woodbury.

West Theatre is bringing in “Diary of Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” and is holding over “Rango.”

New this week at Redbox are “Due Date,” “How Do You Know” and “The Tourist,” as well as the 25th anniversary video of the musical “Les Misérables.”
