Briefs for March 21, 2011: Trailriders club to meet today

The Yampa Valley OHV Trailriders are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today in the library at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.

The club encourages any ATV/OHV riders who are interested in joining the club or would like to come and talk about summer rides or trail projects to attend.

Newspaper seeking new board members

The Craig Daily Press is seeking three to four people to participate on its next Editorial Board, which begins April 4.

Editorial Board members meet from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays to discuss the newspaper’s opinion pieces for that week’s Wednesday and Saturday editions.

Editorial Board terms last three months.

Drop-in clinic slated for Thursday

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will host a drop-in immunization clinic for adolescents to get their Tdap and Meningococcal vaccinations from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Craig Middle School during parent-teacher conferences.

Parents must be present and need to bring their child’s immunization records.

Library board meeting today

The monthly meeting of the Moffat County Libraries Board will take place at 5:30 p.m. today at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.

The meeting is open to the public.

P&Z Commission meetings today

The Craig Planning and Zoning Commission is meeting today at Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.

The meeting begins with a work session at 5:30 p.m. and continues with the regular meeting at 6 p.m.

Both are open to the public.
