Craig taekwondo students place at state tourney

Fifteen Craig taekwondo students competed in the 37th Colorado Taekwondo Institute Super Bowl on Feb. 25 and 26 in Lakewood. With 290 participants at the event in 168 divisions, the 15 Craig students all placed in the top four in either the poomse or board breaking.

At the 37th Colorado Taekwondo Institute Super Bowl on Feb. 25 and 26 in Lakewood, 15 Craig taekwondo students competed in poomse, which is composed of forms, sparring and first point sparring, and board breaking.

There were 168 divisions and a total of 290 participants from ages 3 and up.
