11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children are invited to color a luminaria at Color for a Cause at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Ave., Hayden. The activity costs $5 and supports the Hayden H.E.A.T. Relay for Life team.

1:30 p.m. Preserving the Last Frontier meets in the library on the second floor at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Sherri Johnson will present a program on the history of Maybell. Call 824-6761.

6 to 10 p.m. A fundraising barbecue and dance is at The Haven Assisted Living Center, 300 S. Shelton Lane, Hayden. The event includes a live band, a beer garden and activities for kids. 8 a.m. The 2nd annual Craig Duathlon takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park, 500 S. Ranney St. A limited number of race-day registrations will be available. Cost of registration is $55 for an individual and $75 for a two-person team. For more information, or to register, visit

9 a.m. The Thunder Ridge Motor Sports Park, located south of Craig, is hosting motocross races for all ages and classes. The cost of registration is $25 per racer and the cost of admission is $10 per person.

4 p.m. The God Delusion/Reason for God discussion group meets at McDonald’s. The group discusses topics on both sides of faith.
