Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 3107 W. First St., will host a children’s event at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The event includes a puppet show, clowns, a magic act, games, snacks, prizes, face painting and more.
The event is free and is open to children of all ages.

Dance a fundraiser for The Haven
An old-fashioned barbecue and dance this weekend will serve as a fundraiser for The Haven Assisted Living Center.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at The Haven, 300 S. Shelton Lane, Hayden.
The barbecue begins at 6 p.m., and the live band Loose Change will play at 7 p.m.
The event includes a beer garden and activities for kids.
Tickets are available at the door for $15 per person, $25 per couple, $8 for students ages 6 to 18 or free for children 5 and younger.
Proceeds from the event will benefit programs at The Haven.

Relay team slated to host fundraiser
Children are invited to color a luminaria in remembrance of a loved one lost to cancer, or to honor someone who has won the battle, at Color for a Cause from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Ave., Hayden.
The luminarias will be lit during Yampa Valley Relay for Life on July 15 in Craig.
The activity costs $5 and supports the Hayden H.E.A.T. Relay for Life team.
TMH board’s June meeting changed
The Memorial Hospital board’s meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been moved to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The board meets in the conference rooms at TMH, 750 Hospital Loop.
