To the editor:

Hello, my name is Tamara Ballinger, and I’ve been a Craig resident since 1985.

I have worked in a few places here in Craig, like Signal Hill and the Popular Bar, and I worked in Steamboat Springs for several years. I’m now employed at our great Walmart and the Craig Daily Press.

I like to fish and work in my yard.

A couple of months ago, I learned that I have a benign brain tumor, but it continues to grow and I will undergo surgery Aug. 30.

I need your help.

My medical expenses are overwhelming, and I could use some help. I will be at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction for a while, undergoing surgery and recovering.

I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some contributions to help me with the stress of my finances during recovery.
