Craig Parks and Recreation is still accepting registration for the 2011 Doak Walker tackle football season.
The program is for players in third to sixth grades.
Practices and games will be held three times a week, with practicing beginning the week of Aug. 8.
Registration is $50 per player, and the deadline to register is Friday.

Rally for the Cure golf tourney set for Aug. 3
The 12th annual Rally for the Cure women’s golf tournament takes place Aug. 3 at the Yampa Valley Golf Course, 2179 Colorado Highway 394.
The shotgun start is at 9 a.m.
Registration is $40 per player and includes a lunch and a “Golf Digest” magazine subscription. Green fees and golf carts are extra.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble. Teams of four may enter together or players will be paired up for the tournament.
The deadline to register is Monday. Players should sign up on the Ladies Club bulletin board at the golf course.
The tournament will benefit the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation and the Moffat County Cancer Society.

MCHS wrestling team to host prime rib dinner
The annual Moffat County High School wrestling team prime rib dinner will take place Aug. 4 at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.
Guests may eat any time between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per couple, and discounts are available for children.
Dinner includes prime rib, baked potato, salad, corn on the cob, dessert bar and soft drinks.

Legion, Lions Club to host golf tournament
The American Legion Post 62 and Craig Lions Club golf tournament teaks place Aug. 13 at Yampa Valley Golf Course, 2179 Colorado Highway 394.
The tournament will start at 10 a.m.
The entry fee is $15 per player and includes 18 holes of golf, green fees and a golf cart.
The tournament is limited to the first 120 paid entries.
The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Aug. 8, or when the tournament is full.
