Starting today, Friday classes at Moffat County High School will end at 2:15 p.m.

To better accommodate lunch, passing periods and bus supervision, the Friday schedule will run five minutes longer, according to a news release.

Lunch will now be a full 30 minutes on Fridays.

American Legion bingo Saturday

American Legion Post 62 is hosting bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 6:15 p.m.

The games are open to anyone.

Preserving the Last Frontier meeting set

The next Preserving the Last Frontier meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 29 in the second-floor conference room at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

John Raftopoulos will speak during the meeting about the history of his family.

The meeting is open to the public. For more information, call 824-6761.

AARP chapter to elect officers

Craig AARP Chapter 1418 will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. The group will elect officers during the meeting, and make its annual donation of non-perishable food items to the Interfaith Food Bank.

The meeting is open to anyone.
