Next Craig Concert Association performance Thursday at MCHS

The Craig Concert Association presents a performance by guitarist Edgar Cruz at 7 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. The cost is $20 at the door, or free with an association membership.

Literacy Carnival set for Jan. 20

The ninth annual Literacy Carnival for all elementary school-aged children is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Elementary School, 800 W. Seventh St.

The event includes games involving reading and writing plus prizes. Children can take a book or two to trade.

The carnival is open to children in preschool through fifth grade accompanied by an adult.

The carnival is sponsored by the Sagebrush Reading Council, Colorado Northwestern Community College and a Moffat County School District Literacy grant.

Participants sought for Artwalk

The 16th annual Artwalk and fifth annual Taste of Chocolate are scheduled for Feb. 12 and organizers are seeking participants.

Museum organizing second Western Heritage Quilt Show

The second Western Heritage Quilt Show is set for this summer at the Museum of Northwest Colorado. The deadline to enter the show in May and June is April 30, according to a news release from the museum.
