3 p.m. The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team plays Erie High School in the first round of the 4A state tournament at Longmont High School, 1040 Sunset St.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The 2011 Community Preparedness and Self Reliance Fair is at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1295 W. Ninth St. The event includes information and demonstrations as well as prize drawings.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Childcare is provided and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.

10 to 11 a.m. Zumba instructors Christalin Thompson and Becky Smith are hosting a benefit Zumba class at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. The cost of the class is $5. 1:30 p.m. The Preserving the Last Frontier organization hosts its monthly meeting in the second-floor conference room at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Speakers discuss highlights from the county’s first 100 years. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-6761.
