- Destiny Garcia, of Craig, announces the birth of her daughter, Raynah Haven Love Garcia, at 1:37 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 19 1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Tim Garcia and Shevaun Garcia.
- Meghan and Jorin Rudd announce the birth of their son, Keaton Eli Rudd, at 6:54 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Jeri Allen, of Grand Junction, and Tom and Joy Allen, of Meeker. Paternal grandparents are Ty and Debbie Rudd, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by a brother, Paxton.

- When it comes to Moffat County High School sports, one can’t find many team rosters without seeing the Camilletti name. Baseball, boys basketball, volleyball, girls basketball, even golf … they each include a Camilletti on the roster, and in one case, a family member on the sidelines. Senior Dylon Camilletti was an integral part of the boys varsity basketball team, and is now turning his focus to the MCHS baseball team in the spring.

- LSRV boys, girls basketball teams start with No. 1 seed in regional tournament

- Before the Wyoming basketball season began, the Little Snake River Valley School teams had two pre-season goals. Those goals: Win the Three Trails Conference and get a number one seed in the 1A west regional basketball tournament. Heading into the regional tournament, which begins Thursday in Lander, both the boys and girls varsity teams accomplished their goals.

- The Craig Veterans Telehealth Clinic and the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center are hosting suicide prevention training sessions today in Craig. The first session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way. The second session is set for noon at Colorado Northwestern Community College, room 201, 50 College Dr. The sessions are free and open to the public.
