Vallarta’s Mexican Restaurant is hosting a fundraiser for Landon Hatcher on Monday.

Hatcher is a 10-month-old from Craig who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. His family does not have health insurance.

Vallarta’s is donating 25 percent of profits from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday to the family.

Vallarta’s is located in Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.

Moffat County Cattlewomen meeting today

The next meeting of the Moffat County Cattlewomen is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today at the Moffat County School District bus garage, 998 Rose St.

Library branches to close later this month

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed Saturday through Monday in observance of President’s Day, according to a news release from the library. All branches will reopen Tuesday.

Sunday fundraiser to benefit Craig man

A fundraiser to benefit Jeff Goffe, who has stage 4 melanoma, is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Mercury Café, 2199 California St., in Denver. Proceeds will help Goffe, who lives in Craig and works for Craig Ford, cover medical costs and take time off work to spend time with his grandchildren.

The event will include live music and a silent auction. Those who cannot attend but still want to help can send donations to Goffe at 333 Birch St., Craig, CO 81625.

Bake sale proceeds to assist Jane Milligan

A bake sale scheduled for Feb. 26 in front of City Market is part of the “Save Jane Campaign.” A group of local residents is raising money for Jane Milligan’s upcoming kidney transplant.
