Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, is hosting its third annual Romantic Dinner on Valentine’s Day.

The dinner, which begins at 6 p.m., includes prime rib and crab. The cost is $50 per person. Sleigh rides will take place after dinner, and a Moffat County High School jazz band quartet will perform.

There will also be a silent auction, and a Valentine’s Day gift for two people.

All proceeds benefit the museum’s Winter Festival.

Quilt Guild meeting Tuesday in Craig

The Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild hosts its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hampton Inn, 377 Cedar Court, in Craig.

Monthly meetings are always the third Tuesday of the month, and are free to members and $3 for guests.

On Tuesday, Linda Pinnt will make a presentation on “Old Blocks, New Ways.”

Zumba class to benefit Landon Hatcher

Zumba instructors Christalin Thompson and Becky Smith are hosting a benefit Zumba class from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

The cost of the class is $5. All proceeds will benefit Landon Hatcher, a 10-month-old Craig baby diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Concert Association hosting auditions

The Craig Concert Association will host auditions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2 at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane, for its annual Talent Show.

According to a news release from the association, auditions should be between three and five minutes. People unable to audition should submit a tape or CD if they are unable to audition April 2.

DAR meeting set for today at Museum

The Augusta Wallihan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host its regular monthly meeting at 2 p.m. today at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave.

Weekend lunch, yard sale slated

The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, will host a lunch and indoor yard sale this weekend.

The yard sale begins at 9 a.m. today and Sunday, and those looking to sell items can rent a table for $10.

The lunch is scheduled for 11 a.m. today.

The menu includes a hot beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, salad, dessert and a drink. The cost is $8 per person and $15 for a couple. Meals for children under age 9 cost $4 each and children under age 3 eat for free.

Proceeds from the event go to local youth and veterans.

VFW bingo slated for today

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 Ladies Auxiliary in Craig, 419 E. Victory Way, is hosting bingo from 1 to 4 p.m. today. Participants must be age 18 or older, unless accompanied by an adult.

Full game packages cost $15 and half packages are $7.50. Proceeds from the event will be shared with the Moffat County High School Student Council.

The VFW restaurant will also be serving meals during this time.

Libraries to close later this month

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed Feb. 19 through Feb. 21 in observance of President’s Day, according to a news release from the library.

All branches will reopen Feb. 22.
