The Bears Ears Patriots are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. The subject of the first meeting for the year is citizen involvement in local government. Anyone is welcome.

Variety Show set for Friday

The Craig Variety Show is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way.

The event, which is the first Friday of each month, welcomes local singers, songwriters, poets and storytellers to showcase their talents.

This month’s event features Dave Morris in a comedic act to celebrate his brother Rob’s birthday.

American Legion bingo Saturday

American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo on Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way.

The doors open at 5 p.m. and games start at 6:15 p.m. Anyone

Group presents ‘Pan’ adaptation

Class Act Productions, a theater group in Hayden of students in grades 3 to 12, presents “Peter Pan and Wendy,” a comedic adventure adapted by Doug Rand.

The youths will perform the play at 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hayden High School auditorium, 495 W. Jefferson Ave., Hayden.

The cost is $3 for children 11 and younger and $7 for those 12 and older.

‘Swan Thieves’ up next for book club

The Craig Book Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 657 Green St.

Club member Bonnie Thompson will review Elizabeth Kostova’s “The Swan Thieves.” The hostess will be Susie Begam-Violette.
