Senior Spotlight for Aug. 29, 2011

Again the end of the month is upon us. The Labor Day weekend is here. One more picnic, putting away summer stuff little by little. Where did I leave my sweater?

Go to the store, get more stuff for school before the sale is over, etc. No wonder they call it Labor Day. I’m glad that all the workers have a day to relate to.

Also have birthdays — Dena Price, Twilla Holmes and Wayne Mohrstadt.

Belated birthday wishes to Maxine DeLong, Elaine Bradley and all of the rest of the August birthdays I forgot.

Been feeling some better. Get well and speedy recovery to Ron Moran, Shirley Murphy, Mae McCullum, Mary Vigil and Emily Hamilton.

There will be no bus service or meals from Sunset Meadows on Sept. 5 due to the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Preserving the Last Frontier meets at 5 p.m. today at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, downstairs. The Sunset Meadows I Friday noon potluck — come join us. See you there.
