Balloon festival continues today and Sunday in Craig

Below is a schedule of weekend events for the 2011 Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival at Loudy-Simpson Park:
Today:
• 6:30 to 8 a.m. Balloon launches
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Air and Space Museum children’s activities
• 5:30 p.m. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 flag pole dedication and ceremony
• 9 p.m. Balloon glow
• 10 p.m. to midnight. Dancing under the stars
— Other activities include a Bouncy house, face painting, horseshoe tournament, Zephyr helicopter rides and parachute jumpers.
Sunday:
• 6:30 to 8 a.m. Balloon launches
• 11 a.m. to noon. Pilot awards ceremony
— Breakfast, lunch and arts and crafts vendors will also be available. All activities are dependent on the weather and subject to change.
