The Craig Daily Press is seeking three or four people to participate on its next Editorial Board, which begins Oct. 4.
Editorial Board members meet from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays to discuss the newspaper’s opinion pieces for its Wednesday and Saturday editions.
Board terms last three months.
A wide variety of candidates for board positions are desired.

AARP to meet about election issues
Craig AARP Chapter 1418 will meet at
2 p.m. today at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Speakers at the meeting, which is centered on discussing November ballot issues, include Moffat County clerk Elaine Sullivan and lodging tax committee member Dave De Rose.
Homecoming set for this week
Moffat County High School celebrates Homecoming this week with spirit days and community events.
Dress-up days include bright colors/Hawaiian day today, hippie day on Tuesday, ‘80s retro/crazy hair day on Wednesday, cowboy day on Thursday and Bulldog pride on Friday. Friday is a half day of school for students, who are released at noon.
Royalty will be crowned at 9:50 a.m. Thursday at the high school, 900 Finley Lane, and will be recognized before Friday’s Homecoming football game versus the Palisade Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
A bonfire is scheduled for 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the high school.
The Homecoming parade begins at 2 p.m. Friday and runs from Craig City Park to Safeway.
The Homecoming dance is from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday on the high school’s first floor.
Distributions slated for Wednesday
United States Department of Agriculture food supplement distributions are scheduled for Wednesday in Craig.
Distribution will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at 595 Breeze St., at the northeast alley entrance only.
