11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook. Call 824-5330.

Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is an international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.

1 to 5 p.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership, Craig Chamber of Commerce and Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) host “How to Use the Internet to Grow Your Business” at the Moffat County Courthouse. The cost is $5 per session or $15 for the whole afternoon. Call Darcy Trask at 756-1885.

5 p.m. The Craig Middle School football and volleyball teams host Soroco at CMS, 915 Yampa Ave.

6:30 p.m. The Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 377 Cedar Court. The meeting is open to the public. Call Janice Hunsaker at 824-7931.

Wednesday, Sept. 22

9 to 9:30 a.m. The Moffat County Department of Social Services distributes USDA food supplements at the Maybell Community Center. Call the Moffat County Department of Social Services, 824-8282, ext. 11.

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults ages 50 and older at American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. Call 871-7676.
