Age: 17, Moffat County High School junior

Sport: Soccer

How did you get your start in your sport?

“I used to play when I was really little, and I don’t know why, but I took a break from it. I don’t know if it was World Cup fever or what, but I decided to return to soccer.”

What is your favorite part of being on this team?

“The fact that we’re winning so much.”

What is your personal strength as a part of the team?

“I’m not the best player out of everyone, but I have ambition to improve and learn from as many people as possible.”

Who is your personal hero in sports?

“I don’t really have one. I’m not really a ‘watch sports’ kind of guy. I just can’t sit down with a bag of chips and watch sports on TV for two hours.”

What is one thing about your team an outsider might not know?

“We’re a bunch of complete goofballs. We’re always laughing and making jokes.”
