Sports briefs: CNCC volleyball plays Tuesday in Craig

The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team will host Western Wyoming Community College at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
It will be the only time this fall the CNCC Rangely campus team will play in Craig.
Admission is free for children ages 5 and younger, adults older than 65, and MCHS and CNCC students. The cost is $5 for adults and $4 for other students.

Craig Youth Hockey meeting Thursday
There will be a fall meeting for Craig Youth Hockey at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.
Practices for the 2010-11 season begin Oct. 4 for players ages 5 to 18.

Bowlers wanted for Ladies Coffee League
The Ladies Coffee League will begin bowling at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Ave.
The league will have its regular meetings every Thursday after the first meet.

Fees must be paid for free game admittance
Any Moffat County High School student wanting to attend an MCHS sporting event for free needs to have their book fees paid, according to a news release from the school.
Middle school and elementary school students, and students who have not paid their book fees, can get into MCHS football and volleyball games this fall for $4.
