Honored Homecoming Alumni — Stacy Razzano
Name: Stacy Razzano
MCHS: Class of 1990
Current job: Branch manager at Bank of the West
What was your high school experience like?
“I look back on my high school years with fond memories. I enjoyed being around all my friends and the activities I was involved in. I especially enjoyed my involvement with cheerleading during all four years of high school.”
You’re the branch manager of Bank of the West in Craig. How did Moffat County High School prepare you for your career?
“MCHS had a big part in preparing me for my career. I’ve been at the bank now for 19 years, so pretty much right out of high school. I would never have made it to where I am now without the guidance and education (the school) gave me.”
People change a lot over the course of 20 years. Is there any music you listened to or clothing or hairstyles that you had in 1990 that embarrasses you now?
“I still enjoy 1980s and 1990s music, which I’m not ashamed to admit. I don’t know that I’m embarrassed by any clothing or hairstyles. When I look at old pictures, it brings a smile to my face as it seems so different.”
What was your reaction to being chosen as an honored alumnus?
“I feel honored to have been chosen. I’m happy to represent the Class of 1990 this year at Homecoming. It’s been kind of nostalgic since I found out, and it actually made me reminisce about my high school years. I even pulled out an old yearbook and looked at it with fond memories.”
How do you feel about being part of the Homecoming celebration this year?
“I’m very excited to take part in it. I would like to thank the Student Council for choosing me.”
