Moffat County Commission takes action at Tuesday meeting

At its regular meeting Tuesday morning, the Moffat County Commission:

• Approved, 3-0, two payroll warrant resolutions ending May 15. The first totaled $677,397.21, and the second $1,612.46.

• Approved, 3-0, warrant resolutions for the month of May totaling $506,206.75.

• Approved, 3-0, a letter to the Northwest Colorado Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Advisory Council requesting a study regarding ambulance licensing procedures.

• Approved, 3-0, an addendum to a five-county core services program agreement with West Slope Casa of Glenwood Springs, extending the contract until June 30 to provide substance abuse services.

• Approved, 3-0, an addendum to a five-county core services program agreement with Colorado West Regional Mental Health of Glenwood Springs, extending the contract until June 30 to provide mental health services.

• Approved, 3-0, a Moffat County core services sexual abuse treatment contract with Anthony Nobel of Craig not to exceed $10,000.

• Approved, 3-0, a memorandum of understanding to implement Western Slope Coplink, an information sharing system.

• Approved, 3-0, registration for a 2,000-gallon waste oil aboveground storage tank for the road and bridge department.

• Approved, 3-0, an amendment to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act CSB grant, re-defining the project’s description and eligible expenses.

• Approved, 3-0, April 27 social services meeting minutes.

• Approved, 3-0, renewing a memorandum of understanding for Colorado Works between the county commission and the Colorado Department of Human Services.

• Approved, 3-0, a memorandum of understanding for a collaborative management program pursuant to Colorado House Bill 04-1451 to provide services to children and families.

• Approved, 3-0, a request from Yates Petroleum for the road and bridge department to upgrade a mile of county roads 108 and 109 with gravel and extended snow removal.

• Approved, 3-0, renewing the state electrical inspector’s office lease at the Moffat County Courthouse for $100 per month.
