The Moffat County Libraries board is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the Maybell branch, 202 Collom St.
An open house of the newly-renovated Maybell branch will take place after the meeting.

Meeting to focus on We See D.C. trip
An informational meeting about the June 2011 We See D.C. trip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.
The trip, which also includes a visit to the Williamsburg, Va., area, is open to all community members.
Special discounts will be offered during Tuesday’s meeting.

Donations needed for local crafters
A group of local crafters is trying to make items for area nursing homes and veterans, and are accepting donations of yarn, embroidery floss, small beads and/or pearls, fabric and batting material.

Horizons in need of more volunteers
Horizons Specialized Services is seeking volunteers to serve as mentors to individuals with developmental disabilities in Moffat and Routt counties.
Volunteers spend at least three hours per month with Horizons clients.
Activities include hiking, biking, bowling, swimming, fishing and walks, among others.
