Snowmobile team awards young riders

The XMR snowmobile racing team had its awards banquet April 17. The team is, back row from left, Michelle Stoffle, AJ Stoffle and Wesley Chapman, and, front row from left, Tallyn Wagner, Luke Montgomery and Logan Montgomery.

The X-Treme Mountain Racing snowmobile team had its annual awards banquet April 17 at the American Legion Post 62 headquarters.

The snowmobile team, which is based in Craig, features riders from 4 to 16 years old.

Michelle Stoffle took second place in the sport women’s class, and AJ Stoffle was the champion in the junior 10-to-13 class, 10-to-13 challenge and third in the junior 14-to-15 class.

AJ Stoffle was also named sportsman of the year.

Wesley Chapman was the champion in the 14-to-15 junior class, junior 16-to-17 class and the 14-to-17 X-Treme class.

Tallyn Wagner took second place in the 120-stock class, second in the 120-Super Sunday class and fifth place in the 120 championships.

Luke Montgomery was rookie of the year and took fourth place in the 120-stock class. Logan Montgomery was the champion in the 120-stock class.
