— Mary Pat Dunn has resigned as curator of the Hayden Heritage Center.

Hayden Heritage Center Board member Judy Green said Dunn resigned for personal reasons at the December meeting. Since then, Green said, Dunn has been working part time on an hourly basis.

Dunn had been curator of the Hayden Heritage Center for the past five years.

Green said board members have interviewed two candidates to replace Dunn, one of whom will be offered the job. She said if the person accepts, the board will approve the hire at its meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in the upstairs boardroom of the museum, 300 W. Pearl St. in Hayden.

The position pays a $12,000 annual salary for about 18 hours of work per week. The museum is open on a regular basis from Memorial Day weekend through September. It’s open one or two days a week or by appointment during the winter.
