The Craig Kiwanis Club has 2010 scholarships available, the club announced Monday in a news release.
This year, the club expects to award about $9,500 in scholarships to Moffat County High School graduates.
To be eligible, applicants must be a current or past MCHS graduate, have parents who reside in Moffat County, and been accepted or enrolled in an accredited university, college, business school or vocational school.
Scholarship recipients will be chosen based upon demonstrated leadership qualities, community involvement, academic achievement and financial need, the Kiwanis Club reported.
Prior scholarship winners and applicants are encouraged to submit new applications.
Applications are available at MCHS, Colorado Northwestern Community College or by contacting Jeff Corriveau at Craig Ford, 801 W. Victory Way.
