Library renovations ahead of schedule
Renovations to the Maybell branch of Moffat County Libraries are ahead of schedule.
The library is scheduled to be closed from Wednesday to April 17.

Citizens Academic Scholarship offered
Applications are now being accepted for three $500 Citizens Academic Scholarships.
The scholarship money can be applied to studies at Colorado Northwestern Community College.
Applicants must be have graduated from Moffat County High School within the past three years and must be a U.S. citizen and current resident of Moffat, Rio Blanco or Routt county.
Scholarship recipients will be accepted based on the ability to follow instructions, demonstrated leadership qualities, community involvement, academic achievement and financial need.
The deadline is April 15.

Committee seeks new members
The Craig Beautification Committee is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. March 30 at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public.
The organization is trying to attract new members with ideas for future projects.

The Preserving the Last Frontier group is scheduled to host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. March 27 in the second floor conference room at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
