The baby weighed 8 pounds, 2.4 ounces and was 19 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Pat Sims and Richard Sims, of Grand Junction. Paternal grandparents are Troy Blake, of Madill, Okla., and Wanda Blake, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by siblings, Cassandra, Alicia, Mackenzie and Arianwyn Blake.
- Amy McDiffett and Cody Jones, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Cylus Darren Spencer Jones, at 3:45 a.m. March 5, 2010, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Sidney Brasfield, of Craig, and Todd McDiffett, of Grand Junction. Paternal grandparents are Terri Willey, of Pueblo. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Austin McDiffett.
- Diana Ferrales and Omar Morquecho, of Craig, announce the birth of their daughter, Donna Michelle Morquecho-Ferrales, at 5:49 a.m. Feb. 26, 2010, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Luis Ferrales and Rose Aurora Tanori, of Mexico. Paternal grandparents are Arturo Morquecho, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Jose, Luis and Xitlaly.

- The Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic has been the target of several attempted break-ins the past six weeks. Four apparently unsuccessful break-in attempts have been made at the TMH Clinic, 785 Russell St., the former site of The Memorial Hospital, Craig Police Department Sgt. John Forgay said.

- Moffat County Commissioner Audrey Danner has received a response from the U.S. Office of Special Counsel clearing questions surrounding her candidacy for another term as District 2 commissioner. “This response confirms that my actions of giving information to our employees was not in violation of the Hatch Act,” Danner said. “It was not influencing their campaign.”
