Census job testing at Workforce Center

The Census Bureau will be offering a full day of pre-employment testing Thursday at the Colorado Workforce Center, 480 Barclay St.

Test times will be 9:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Two forms of identification are required. A driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate or a current passport are acceptable.

Jobs still are available for census takers starting at $12.50 per hour and .50 cents per mile.

VNA offering free breathing screening

The Northwest Colo­rado Visiting Nurse Asso­ciation is offering free breathing screenings for patients who have breathing problems or asthma in Moffat, Routt and Jackson counties.

Spirometry testing, pulmonary functions studies, prescription medications, asthma management and education are available.
