The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries hosts story-times and family game nights throughout the month of March.
Story-times begin at 10 and 11:30 a.m. every Thursday. The theme for Thursday is farm animals. March 11 will be St. Patrick’s Day, March 18 spring’s beginning and March 25 Mother Goose.
Family game nights are Monday, March 15, 22 and 29 and April 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
All events take place at the library, 570 Green St.

Book Club to meet March 11 at church
The Craig Book Club meets at 9:30 a.m. March 11 at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St.

Special food item distributions today
Special food supplement distributions will take place from 11 a.m. to noon today at 330 Stegosaurus Freeway, Dinosaur, and 1 to 3 p.m. today at 595 Breeze St., Craig.
The Moffat County Department of Social Services will receive a special allotment of food supplement items in the next three months. During this time additional distributions, at alternating distribution sites will occur. Social Services anticipates cheese will be one of the special items available. DOW offers hunter education class
The Colorado Division of Wildlife is sponsoring a hunter education course March 15 through 18 at the Colorado Northwestern Community College campus in Craig. The classes will take place 6 to 9 p.m. each night.
Participants are required to attend all four classes.
Pre-registration is required. The class size is limited to 40 people.
Completion of the Internet hunter education course also will be offered.
