Dear Annie: I am 26, and my sister is 18 months older. We have never gotten along well, but recently, there has been a huge rift. My sister and her boyfriend own a nice house, and she drives a new car. I am recently divorced and am struggling to raise three children on my own. Our wealthy parents have been helping me out a great deal.

Craig briefs: DOW offers hunter education class

The Colorado Division of Wildlife is sponsoring a hunter education course March 15 through 18 at the Colorado North­western Community College campus in Craig. The classes will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. each night. Participants are required to attend all four classes.
MCHS Speech and Debate takes team trophy for 3rd year in a row

It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Moffat County Speech and Debate Team. But as seniors Brodie Schulze and Janna Thompson hoisted the district sweepstakes trophy above their heads on the stage in the Moffat County High School auditorium Saturday, it was a debate dynasty that was on their mind.

As promised by John Ponik­var, Moffat County Republican Central Committee chairman, Saturday’s Lincoln Day Dinner held many surprises. Two candidates for the Moffat County Commission emerged, a county coroner candidate withdrew from the race and 17 other candidates spoke during the event held at the Holiday Inn of Craig.
