Craig Briefs: “Junk in the Trunk” yard sale today

First Congregational Church, 630 Green St., is hosting its “Junk in the Trunk” yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The event is open to the public.

Proceeds from the event benefit the church’s capital campaign.

Space is available, for a fee, for anyone wishing to sell items. For more information, call 824-6836 or 824-4136.

Relay for Life teams will be on hand selling breakfast and lunch to benefit the American Cancer Society.

Humane Society hosting fundraiser

The third annual Bone Appetit BBQ, a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Moffat County, is set for 6 p.m. today at the OP Bar & Grill.

There will be food, family fun, door prizes and silent auction items.

“An enjoyable evening on the best patio in Northwest Colorado,” organizers described the event in a news release.

Tickets are $25 per person or $48 for a couple. Tickets are $10 for children under 12.

Yard sale set to benefit TMH

A yard sale by the Pink Ladies volunteers of The Memorial Hospital is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at 220 Mack Lane in Craig.

Appliances, books, clothes, games, toys and decorations are some of the items that will be available.

The sale is open to the public.

Wanda Walker to present at meeting

The Preserving the Last Frontier organization will host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. today in the second-floor conference room at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

Wanda Walker is scheduled to discuss her life in Browns Park. The meeting is open to the public.
