9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddler/preschool-age children takes place at the Early Childhood Development Preschool at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann Anderson at 826-2717.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, invites the public to watch a blacksmith at work. Call the museum at 824-6346.

Noon. The Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 10th annual golf tournament takes place at Yampa Valley Golf Course. The format is a four-person scramble. The cost is $50 per person or $200 per team. Call the golf course at 824-3673 or Eva Peroulis at 824-2424.

1 to 8 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and younger and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. The event is open to the public. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

5 to 7 p.m. A Special Olympics parent and coaches meeting takes place at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. The meeting is for anyone interested in having their child participate in the games, or for anyone interested in possibly coaching a team. 7 p.m. Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave., hosts open mic night. Sign-up takes place at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public. Call 824-5846.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Childcare is provided and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.
