The sun is shining and things are drying up. Maybe it’ll rain.
I have company coming in — that time of year again.
Get out the grill, take the kids to the pool and, oh, honey, don’t forget the drinks, suntan lotion and such. Mosquitos are biting, but summer is here, so enjoy the sun.
Regardless of whatever the day brings, in the evening, hopefully you can say, “Wasn’t that fun?”
There are a lot of things going. I hear about weddings, reunions and birthdays.
Speaking of birthdays, we have Eloise J. Dailey, Theodore Floyd and Treva Sharp.
Get well/speedy recovery to Ruby Gaskill, Ted Chamberlin, Ron Vassoles, Linda Herrera, Mary Lou Hillewart and Theresa Rendon.
A happy 66th wedding anniversary goes out to Earl and Beulah Kline.
Glad to see Lois and Bill Wise at Sunset Meadows I potluck on Friday. They were here for the rodeo; their son was the announcer and their grandson was in the rodeo.
After 51 years, two sisters got together and celebrated early birthdays.
Celebrating with Phyllis Varela and Evelyn Morgan were family members Evelyn Dennis-Morgan from Sonora, Calif.; Marje and her son, Ralph Jones, of Phoenix.; Lorraine Meahon, of Bay Point, Calif.; Larry Roebuck and friend, Linda, of Doniphon, Neb.; and Maxine Peterson, of Wheatridge. Marje also got to celebrate her birthday with them June 18.
The McDonald’s senior breakfast is Wednesday.
The AARP meeting is set for 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows I. Sunset Meadows I potluck is at noon Friday.
See you there.
