9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Maybell Dog Agility Trials take place at Maybell Park on U.S. Highway 40 in Maybell. Registration is now closed for the event. Spectators are welcome to watch canines compete in obstacle courses.

10 a.m. The Moffat County Mud Runs take place at Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Hwy. 40. Registration for the event’s classes — 4- and 6-cylinder, stock, super stock, pro stock, modified, open and snowmobile — is from 7 to 9 a.m. Races begin at 10 a.m. Admission is $8 for those 13 and older, $4 for youths 6 to 12 and there is no cost for 5 and younger. There is a barbecue benefiting the American Cancer Society during the event as well. Call Tim at 629-0933.

10 a.m. Hayden Parks and Recreation and the Colorado Division of Wildlife host the annual Huck Finn Day at Hayden Town Park. The event is open to the public. The public is advised to park at Hayden High School or the elementary school. Call 734-4168.

10 a.m. Hayden Parks and Recreation and the Steamboat Springs Running Series host the 32nd annual Hayden Cog Run. The cost is $25. The public is advised to park at Hayden High School or the elementary school. Call 734-4168.

1 to 4 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 Ladies Auxiliary hosts bingo at the VFW post, 419 E. Victory Way. Call Jeannie Wixson at 875-1768.

6 to 10 p.m. The Haven assisted living center hosts its annual barbecue and barn dance fundraiser at the facility in Hayden. Food is served from 6 to 8 p.m., and dancing takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. Area band Loose Change provides entertainment. The cost is $15 per person, $25 for couples and $8 for students 6 to 18. Sunday, June 13

4 p.m. The God Delusion/Reason for God discussion group meets at McDonald’s. The group discusses topics on both sides of faith.
