9 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets with county attorney Jeremy Snow to discuss a resolution to extend the county’s moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Call 824-5517.

Noon. A dedication ceremony takes place at the Little Rascals Pond at the Moffat County Public Safety Center, 800 W. First St. The event recognizes improvements that have been made to the pond. The event is open to the public.

1 to 8 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and under and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.

4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook. Call 824-5330.

4:45 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation youth baseball plays at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 S. Mack Lane.

6:30 p.m. The Moffat County School Board meets in the boardroom at the district administration building, 775 Yampa Ave, for a public hearing on the 2010-11 school district budget. Call 824-3268.

6:45 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation coach pitch baseball plays at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 S. Mack Lane.

7:30 p.m. “Muscle the Mussels,” an event sponsored by Colorado State Parks, regarding boat inspection procedures takes place at Elkhead Reservoir Ampitheatre. The event is open to the public. A daily parks pass or annual pass is required. Call Melissa at 276-2061.
