Chris Winder goes in the 27th round of the MLB first-year player draft

Chris Winder, a 2008 Moffat County High School graduate, was drafted Tuesday during the annual Major League Baseball first-year player draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. Winder, who had recently completed his sophomore year at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas, was taken in the 27th round.
