Intercambio to resume in July

Intercambio, a free bilingual conversational group offered by Integrated Community and hosted Tuesday nights at the Boys and Girls Club of Craig, is taking a break until July.

When the program returns, it will come back with a different format, according to a news release.

Habitat meeting today at chamber

The Northwestern Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is hosting its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way.

Chamber business mixer Thursday

The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors is having a business after-hours mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Bank of America is hosting the event at 509 Yampa Ave., in the parking lot between Victory Way and Yampa Avenue.

The mixer will have a carnival atmosphere with hot dogs, popcorn, snowcone machine, balloons and games.

Children are welcome, and there will also be door prizes.

The Haven hosting barbecue fundraiser

The Haven assisted living center’s annual barbecue and barn dance fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday at the facility in Hayden.

Food will be served from 6 to 8 p.m., and dancing will take place from 7 to 10 p.m.

There will be events for the whole family, including activities for children, according to a news release, and area band Loose Change will provide entertainment.

The cost is $15 per person, $25 for couples and $8 for students ages 6 to 18. The event is free for youths ages 5 and younger.

All proceeds go toward senior programs at The Haven.
