8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County hosts its annual garage sale in the barn behind the house at 2205 E. Ninth St. Call Ann Anderson at 826-2717.

8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Moffat County Fuller Center of Housing hosts a board workshop at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 630 Green St. Call Rev. Bob Woods at 824-6836.

10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce presents the Fun Zone Amusements Carnival at the Moffat County Fairgrounds, 640 E. Victory Way. An unlimited day pass is $25 including two jumps on the bungee trampoline or $22 without the bungee jumps. Punch cards are also available for limited riding.

11 a.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce hosts Mud Splash Volleyball past the soccer fields at Loudy-Simpson Park, 500 S. Ranney St.

Noon. Preserving the Last Frontier hosts a potluck in the picnic area at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. Visitors are encouraged to take food to share, table service and an item for show and tell. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-6761.

6:15 p.m. American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m. The progressive jackpot is more than $1,000. Call the American Legion at 824-3625.

Sunday, Aug. 1

Today is the trip deposit deadline for the upcoming Colorado Northwestern Community College Lifelong Learning Adventure to New York City from Nov. 11 to 15. For information about the trip, call Mary Morris at 824-1135.

1 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

4 p.m. The God Delusion/Reason for God discussion group meets at McDonald’s. The group discusses topics on both sides of faith.

6 p.m. Ridgeview Church of God, 690 Riford Road, hosts a performance by Soulja, a Christian rapper/singer. The performance is free and open to the public. Call 824-9619.

6 to 9 p.m. The second annual Lid Jam, an event in honor of the late Shane Braselton, takes place at the Craig skate park at the corner of Baker Drive and Ashley Road. The event is open to the public. Free helmets are given to skaters who pledge to wear it.
