9 a.m. A fundraising softball tournament takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park, 500 S. Ranney St. Proceeds from the event help Roman Gutierrez, who suffered an injury at a softball game last summer, cover medical expenses. Call Manuel Madrid at 629-8472.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second annual Geocaching Brown Bag Lunch Meet & Greet takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park. Newcomers are welcome.

Noon to 8 p.m. Mathers’ Club hosts a grand opening celebration of its new dance floor and pool room, which features three new pool tables and new carpet and paneling. Mathers’ will now host the American Poolplayers Association league play Tuesday nights. The grand opening includes free food, pool contests and giveaways and is open to the public. Call 824-9946.

1 to 6 p.m. The Craig Swimming Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and under and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.

5 to 9 p.m. The Disability Days Concert & Carnival takes place at Alice Pleasant Park in the 500 block of Yampa Avenue. Activities include games, prizes and music.

6:30 p.m. Hayden Speedway has a super street show at 37900 County Road 53 in Hayden. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for youths 7 to 12. Children 6 and younger get in free. Call 824-3070 or (970) 208-7772.

9 a.m. A fundraising roping and barrel racing competition takes place at the Russell Community Park rodeo grounds, two miles east of Dixon, Wyo. Proceeds go toward the medical expenses of 7-year-old Hannah Sixkiller, formerly of Craig. Call Brianna Braun at (307) 380-6203.
